Our founder
Mr Gabriele Oteri
Born in Australia, Gabriele Oteri has been an entrepreneur all his life. Before entering the milk powder industry he founded a seafood business, now run by his family, and Honbits, a second-hand car dealership which he has since sold. He has also worked with Australian Nature Dairy.
A father of four, Gabriele understands every parent’s wish to give their children the best in their growing years. He and his wife wanted the best available formula for their own children, and the idea of bringing Australian-produced milk powder to families in China followed. Drawing on his experience in the milk powder industry and as a parent, he started Baby Shield.
